Frequently asked questions

What is furniture linoleum and how is it different from floor linoleum?
Furniture linoleum is the same key natural material as Marmoleum flooring, made from linseed oil, wood flour and rosin, but manufactured with a paper backing as a flexible sheet designed for application to furniture, cabinetry, desktops, and joinery surfaces rather than floors. It is thinner and more flexible than floor linoleum, allowing it to wrap around curved and shaped surfaces. It shares the same inherently antibacterial, climate positive, and natural material credentials as Marmoleum.

Can furniture linoleum be applied to curved surfaces?
Yes, Furniture Linoleum is flexible enough to be applied to curved and three-dimensional surfaces, including rounded desk edges, curved cabinet doors, and shaped furniture forms. Refer to Forbo's installation guide for adhesive recommendations and radius limits.
